After the long and difficult struggle against the sickness, on October 27, Anna has died.....

>>>
(Irina Karpovich informs from the hospital):
" Anna has finished to receive the first anti-relapse block. Next expected step is to ‘citopeniya’. What will happen further – will be decided on the basis of he Anna’s analyses. Maybe a procedure called FLAG. Anna has pain in the head and bones, but - within the framework of protocol, i.e., in the manner that must be. She takes everything with a stoic patience, and her mom Lena also."

At the moment Anna with her mom are under the care of Irina Karpovich (volunteer from Byelorussia) in Minsk. According to the results of the first analyses blasts are not present in the blood, but find itself only in the spinal cord – that is an unexplainable, but positive factor. First chemotherapy is conducted. The girl will have to enter in the state of remission. Then, apparently, a bone marrow transplantation will have to be repeated.

On 19 May, 2006 Anna has heard a terrible diagnose - the second isolated bone marrow relapse. This happened so fast and unexpected... In the beginning the family and all who know Anna were in the deep shock. However, there is no much time for considerations and thinking and therefore it is necessary to start as soon as possible with treatment. Preliminary is clear that the entire treatment will be much more expensive than in the previous time, since girl is more adult and her body has more weight.
